DIPA – Dry excavation and dredging works at Agua Clara locks

The project consisted of on shore excavation and dredging works necessary to construct the finished grades on the west bank of Agua Clara, the Atlantic access channel for the new canal locks.   To perform the works and move the material, on shore land equipment was used for the dry area, and marine equipment was used for excavation and underwater profile for the wet area.  The quantity of material for the dry and wet areas was: 43,811 m3 of material for dry area, and 2,322 m3 of material for the wet area.
