ENERGIA 2000 – Design and construction of an “Early Gas” maritime terminal

ENERGIA 2000

The project consisted of the design and construction of an offshore maritime terminal (1.4 km from the coast) for the offloading of high-pressure natural gas (HPNG) for the operation of one of three power plants, located in Montecristi, Dominican Republic.

The maritime facility will allow the berthing of an FSRU. This maritime facility’s design consists of four (4) mooring dolphins, two (2) breasting dolphins and an offloading platform connected to the coast by means of a 1.3 km long concrete-lined subsea pipeline.
