ENERGÍA 2000 – Provisional trestle

ENERGÍA 2000

Design and construction of a provisional trestle to be used in the construction of the permanent trestle for the reception of Natural Gas, and which also fulfills the function of a logistical unloading dock for heavy and oversized cargo for a 400 MW power plant in Dominican Republic.

The trestle, which is composed of piles and steel elements, is approximately 300 m long. The trestle system consists of pre-assembled steel modules which are connected to each other through the use of crawler crane mats for cargo transit. The structure has steel piles that transfer the load to the resistant soil strata.
