The project consisted of the transportation of three engines from Puerto Cortes, Honduras to a nearby jetty.
For this project, IMI used a tugboat and barge to transport three 325 ton engines from the port at Puerto Cortes to a jetty located 2.5 km from the port. The engines were loaded onto the barge directly from the vessel carrying them and were unloaded via a roll-off operation.
Logistics services for the unloading of heavy and oversized equipment for the construction of the 400 MW Manzanillo Power Land thermoelectric plant in the Dominican Republic.
This project consisted of the installation of coastal protection on the east side of the Terminal, between the pier
and the construction of the new north Jetty (executed by IMI). The works consisted of excavation works, the supply, transport and the installation of geotextile and armor rock. This required high quality rock material trans-ferred from quarries on the Pacific coast to the Atlantic coast , city of Colón, Republic of Panama.
Panama Port Company. The project is located at the existing container port terminal at Port of Cristóbal in the City of Colón, Colón Province, Republic of Panama and consists of improvements to the mechanically stabilized earth (MSE) wall and adjacent road on the north side of “La Mole”.
EPC for the replacement of the Hose Tower located on the platform of the south pier in Terminal de Bahía Las Minas, Colón Panama, which
serves the terminal for the unloading of fuels from ships of up to 75,000DWT, storage and transfer to other ships. The dismantling of the existing tower and the assembly of the new tower was carried out with maritime equipment.
