VOPAK –  Panama Terminal Expansion – Civil Works & EPC Sheet Piling Works Manifold 301

This project consisted of the construction of the Tank Pit Manifold, which
consisted of a 25m x 51m sheet pile perimeter with an internal division to
create two adjacent chambers with different elevations. The works consisted of the installation of the sheet piling, the fabrication and installation of precast concrete micropiles, excavation and earthfill works, the construction of 1.2m thick reinforced concrete slabs for the manifold topping and drainage trenches and pedestals upon which to install the pumps.

 

Americas Gas Summit – Panama City | November 14 – 16, 2018

Closing with a flourish our participation in all the events of the area during the year 2018, we participated as Sponsors in the Americas Gas Summit 2018 held in Panama City, and highlighting Panama’s location as a global oil and and LNG distribution center. This meeting was a platform for gas cooperation and participation of local, regional and international partners committed along the entire gas value chain.

With an interesting and rich conference program, opportunities and challenges were discussed with representatives of the public sector throughout the region, and to boost support for the development of the current gas market.

XIII Port Maritime Congress Guatemala | November 19 – 20, 2018

Organized by the National Port Commission of Guatemala (CPN) and the Inter-American Port Commission (CIP) of the Organization of American States (OAS), was held the Thirteenth Edition of the MARITIME PORT CONGRESS, a high-level international event, , and in which we were present with a successful participation formed by a delegation that shared with other experts in the subject, experiences and knowledge about the central theme: Competitive and Sustainable Port Management.

Latin America & Caribbean Gas Conference & Exhibition (LGC) Mexico City | October 8 – 10, 2018

In October 2018 we were present at the Gas Conference and Exhibition of Latin America and the Caribbean (LGC). The objective of the event was to give a coherent voice for gas in Latin America and the Caribbean throughout the value chain given the importance of its production and demand for energy in the area and its complex relationship with natural gas. We had the opportunity to strengthen and be part of an interesting exchange with energy ministers, hydrocarbon agencies, gas regulators, and local, regional and international actors to strengthen investment opportunities and gas development in the Latin American region and the region. Congress REPICA 20 Dominican Republic | July 24-27 2018

Intercostal Marine Inc, was present at the Fortieth Edition of the Congress organized by the Dominican Port Authority and the Central American Commission of Maritime Transport (COCATRAM). During 4 days more than 200 representatives of the maritime and port sector of Central America met to discuss issues of impact to the sector, development strategies and promote the exchange of ideas and experiences.

After two successful editions of the Port Expansion Summit of Latin America in Peru and Colombia; The third edition of this event was held in Mexico City between November 30 and December 1, 2017.

In the 3rd Port Expansion Summit of Latin America; Government officials, investors, port authorities and port and terminal operators discussed with consultants, architects, builders, equipment suppliers and service groups, in order to better explore the market and support the development of projects.

IMI is part of the World Conference and Exhibition, Panama Maritime XIII

From 12 to 15 March, the secretary general of the International Maritime Organization (IMO), the Korean Kitack Lim, and Intercoastal Marine, together with the most important leaders of the national maritime industry, as well as experts from 50 countries, will meet Panama Maritime XIII, which this year celebrates the 100th anniversary of the creation of the Panama Ship Registry and the inauguration of the expanded Canal.

The event, which is held every two years, is organized by the Panama Maritime Chamber (CMP) and the Panamanian Association of Maritime Law (APADEMAR), with the collaboration of the Panama Maritime Authority (AMP) and the Panama Maritime Authority. Panama Canal (ACP), will be held at the Megapolis Convention Center, from 7 pm, with the participation of more than 100 exhibitors.
