IMI in XXV Latin American Congress of Ports | AAPA

The event will be held in Merida, Mexico, and will bring together more than 400 industry leaders during 4 days of lectures, trade shows, social activities and camaraderie meetings.

Organized by the Latin American Delegation of AAPA in a strategic alliance with the Integral Port Administration of Progress – it counts with the participation of the main maritime and fluvial terminals of America, as well as of numerous companies suppliers of the sector and means of communication.

Intercoastal Marine Inc. will be present at Booth # 24.

IMI wins 2nd place in the international edition of the CEMEX 2016 Works Awards, Category Infrastructure

Our Project “Maritime Works International Terminal Manzanillo. Colón, Panama “was awarded the Second Place in the international edition of the CEMEX Works Awards 2016, Category Infrastructure, delivered in Mexico, having been winner in the version of Panama.

The project competed with projects from 50 countries, each of them world-class, from which only nine works were selected (LNG Terminal in Poland, Dubai International Airport in the United Arab Emirates, Dam and Hydroelectric Plant in Egypt, State Dam United States, among others).

We are a leading contractor in Maritime Engineering and Construction, with more than 20 years of experience. Today, with great pride, we highlight our participation in a series of projects that support various industries such as mining and hydrocarbons.

At the moment, the maritime works developed for Minera Panama lead a series of commitments, to which are added others of an international character. For this mining company, a dock for coal discharge and loading of the copper concentrates produced by the miner is built for immediate shipment.

Outside of Panama, IMI is starting work on a project in the Dominican Republic and at the same time participating in different bidding processes throughout Central America.
